REFERENCE SERVICES
Walk-in Reference
The Architecture Reference Desk offers a variety of services to users, including directional, information, and research assistance. Librarians are trained in a variety of subject specialties in order to assist users in resolving their information needs and making effective use of the Libraries' many resources.Staff members are available during the hours posted for research assistance. When reference staff is unavailable, you may complete a reference request form available at the Reference Desk. Response to queries will be made no later than the end of the next business day. If you prefer to submit your queries online, a number of digital reference options are available.
In-depth Consultations
Schedle an in-depth consultation if you want help finding hard-to-find information, formulating extensive search strategies, evaluating information resources, or using specific library collections, programs, or services.This service is available primarily to UM faculty, staff, students, and administrators. If you are not affiliated with UM, you may be eligible to use this service if you are working with the library's special collections.
