The Trylon and Perisphere, designed by Wallace K. Harrison and J. André Fouilhoux, represent the "World of Tomorrow" theme of the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Trylon, a triangular tower, measured 610 feet high, and the Perisphere, a globe, measured 180 feet in diameter.
