The United States Steel Building held the exhibits of the U.S. Steel Corporation at the 1939 New York World's Fair. The building, designed by Walter Dorwin Teague and executed by the architects York and Sawyer, consisted of a 66-foot high stainless steel hemisphere and was notable for having structural members on its exterior.
