Memo of Understanding Between the Access Services Team and the Circulation Coordinating Committee

The Access Services Team leads creative and innovative projects to introduce new and enhance existing circulation, interlibrary loan, reserves, and other access services for customers of the University of Maryland Libraries.

The Circulation Coordinating Committee is a cooperative group which coordinates circulation procedures and operations among the UM Libraries, and makes recommendations about circulation policy.

The missions of these two groups are complementary. Proposals from AST regarding new or enhanced services which may impact on the operations, policies, and procedures of the UM Libraries' circulation services should be coordinated with CCC. CCC may bring ideas and issues to the attention of AST for consideration when appropriate.

Both AST and CCC serve in advisory capacities to each other and to the administration of the UM Libraries.
