1. Topic: Agenda review
Outcome: no changes
2. Topic: FY06 Serial Review - databases
Outcome: CMT finalized the list of databases for review. Instructions and timeline for selectors forthcoming.
3. Topic: FY06 Serial Review - meetings with selector
Outcome: CMT approved the agenda and determined topic leaders for the two introductory meetings. Aleph training is planned for the last week in October, days and times dependent upon room availability. Formal Excel training has been reconsidered in favor of Help handouts and collaborative-based training and support.
4. Topic: Transfer of Journals to MOSS
Outcome: CMT approved the policy proposal, the finalized version of which will be announced to library staff and posted on the Libraries’ web site: Electronic Journal Subscriptions and Off-Site Shelving.
5. Topic: Announcements
- Jan announced that this week’s purchase plan review will be delayed for a few days, possibly until next week.
- Susanna provided an update on CLIS merge.
- Jan announced that the Serials RFP has gone to the vendors for bids. The contract is currently held by SWETS.
- Jan announced that establishing online ordering with Blackwell's is progressing. Implementation by January is still expected.
