1. Topic: Agenda review

Outcome: no changes

2. Topic: FY06 Serial Review - journals

Outcome: The FY06 Serial Review kickoff meetings for faculty, hosted by Dean Lowry, will be held on November 29th , 1-2 pm, and November 30th , 10-11 am. Invitations will be sent to deans, department chairs and department liaisons. Selectors are also invited to attend. As a result, CMT will not meet on the 29th but will extend its meeting on the 22nd

3. Topic: FY06 Serial Review - re-categorization of databases

Outcome: Re-categorization of database requests are being processed as appropriate. Finalization of spreadsheets was postponed until next week to accommodate requests for further collaborative review.

4. Topic: Journal Binding Proposal

Outcome: CMT continued to discuss the Working Proposal for Redirection of Effort #22, Policy for Binding Print Serials, and added to last week’s recommendations.

5. Topic: Announcements

• Susanna provided an update on the CLIS merger
• Librarians who have published or presented a paper within the past 3 years are invited to attend either one of two DRUM training sessions on December 2nd , 1-2:30 and December 6th , 10-11:30, McKeldin 6101, on depositing their works in DRUM. Please RSVP to Courtney Michael (cmicha@umd.edu) .
