1. Topic: Agenda review

Outcome: no changes

2. Topic: E-Journals by Subject in Research Port

Implementation of E-Journal search by subjects in Research Port, paralleling the subject categories in Databases, is scheduled for Spring 2006. The University of Iowa has already implemented this feature; please see The University of Iowa, Info Link: Subject Browse.

Outcome: CMT members were assigned subject categories for which to find representative journals. Please provide Betty with examples ASAP. CMT will continue discussion on January 31, 2006.

3. Topic: Cross-searchable databases

Outcome: CMT identified article-level databases for priority inclusion in Research Port Cross-Search expansion. The short list will be circulated to IRST for additional comment. CMT will return to this topic January 31.

4. Topic: CMT 2005 Work Plan

CMT reviewed its 2005 Work Plan for completed tasks and tasks continuing in the 2006 Work Plan.

Outcome: When complete, an annotated version of the 2005 Work Plan will be posted at Collection Management Team Completed Projects, and the 2006 Work Plan will be posted at Collection Management Team Homepage.

5. Topic: Announcements

• An aggregate timeline of Journal Review, Database Review, and Big Ticket deadlines for Spring 2006 was sent to the selectors list (Susanna).
• Training for Online Ordering will be held January 17th and 18th (Susanna).
• Making of Modern Law will be available through an agreement with the UM Law School (Betty).

6. Review meeting process and plan for next meeting:

• Begin prioritizing of general subscriptions managed by CMT
• Non-circulating monographs in MOSS
