1. Topic: Agenda review
Outcome: No changes.
2. Topic: Big Ticket Review Planning
Outcome: The first Big Ticket Process Review will be held June 27th from 1:30-3:00.
3. Topic: Taylor & Francis possible e-only
Outcome: Unless license negotiations fail, Taylor & Francis subscriptions will become e-only as of January 2007. Print will be available through December. A list of affected titles will be available on the Web.
4. Topic: Checking Aleph for titles on Memberships
Outcome: A guide to checking for journals received on memberships or as part of a package will be created and made available at Resources for Collection Managers http://www.lib.umd.edu/CLMD/Staff/resources.html.
5. Topic: Announcements
- Publishers are releasing digital reprints that appear to be new editions. Be aware of these dupes in disguise. When placing an order, let Acquisitions know if you really do want a duplicate copy of a book. (Jan)
- There will be two training session on Blackwells’ Collection Manager online ordering system: Tuesday, July 10, 1:30-3:00 (McK 6101) and Wednesday, July 12, 9:30-11:00 (McK 6101). (Susanna)
- BNA unmatched monograph reports are now available electronically in Word. Let Susanna know if you want to receive these weekly reports.
- There is now a Standing Order component available in Collection Manager. Pat Adams will cover this component during her training. (Jan)
