Moving Beyond Paper:

More Journal Subscriptions to be received only in Electronic Form

The Libraries migrate to e-only versions of journals when publishers meet specific criteria for content, access, archiving, pricing, and licensing. By the completion of the first transition in January 2004, the Libraries had begun receiving approximately 600 titles from four publishers in electronic format only.

In January 2005, the Libraries began to receive almost 1,300 additional journals from 31 more publishers in full text electronic format only.

The Libraries will continue to retain all paper issues already in the collections. Please check with library staff in the various current periodical areas if you are looking for a paper issue and believe it has been affected by this changeover.
