Special Collections Collaborative

The Collaborative brings together librarians, archivists, and other professionals from throughout the Libraries who have responsibilities and interests in the development, maintenance, and preservation of special collections in a variety of formats and media. Vital interests also encompass the provision of robust and effective service programs that promote the use of special collections for teaching, research, and scholarship and forge close working ties with related general collections and services.

Through regular meetings, designated working groups, initiatives, and projects, the Collaborative forges a strong identity for special collections within the Libraries and University community and facilitates the creation of consistent policies and practices.
