- Meeting, March 16, 2007, C. Burr Artz Library, Frederick, Maryland
- Meeting, September 28, 2007, Lewis J. Ort Library, Frostburg State University
- The statewide task force to explore issues relating to Maryland State Documents (Doug McElrath is a member) released their report in April 2007.
- Continued work on a collection development policy for Maryland-related collections
- Consulted with each other regarding purchases and acquisitions opportunities
- Participated in Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference (MARAC) spring and fall meetings.
- Participated in tours of digitization center at the State Library Resource Center in Baltimore (Maryland Digital Cultural Heritage - hosted by Nadia Nasr)
- Ann Hanlon resigned from the team due to her new job in DCR. Vin Novara joined the team.
- Accessioned numerous Maryland-related collections, including the Jesse Glass papers and papers of several Maryland politicians, including Adrienne Mandel and Carol Petzold.
- University AlbUM launched on Digital Collections site, showcasing University of Maryland photographs. In addition, many other Maryland-related manuscripts and images are featured in Digital Collections as well.

The Maryland History and Culture Team had a very productive year in 2006.
- Establishment of the statewide Maryland History and Culture Collaborative

- Meeting, June 9, 2006, University of Maryland, College Park
- Meeting, November 17, 2006, Enoch Pratt Free Library, Baltimore
- Doug McElrath and Ann Hudak continued investigations into policies for electronic state documents; Doug McElrath represents the university on a statewide task force devoted to this issue
- Maryland Historical Society: The team composed an expression of concern following a series of layoffs there this fall
- Continued work on a collection development policy for Maryland-related collections
- Consulted with each other regarding purchases and acquisitions opportunities
- Submitted eBay proposal to the Special Collections Collaborative
- Participated in both MARAC spring and fall meetings and worked towards engaging MARAC members in interests such as documenting underground arts.
2005
2005 was the inaugural year for this team. Our accomplishments include:
- Establishment of email reflector: mdhist-lib@umd.edu
- Beginning work on a collection
development policy for Maryland-related collections (continuous)
- Joint-decision-making on manuscript and serial acquisitions (continuous)
- Attempts at reaching out to "underground" and smaller-scale publishers
in Maryland (continuous)
- Discussions re: the best way to assist History Day students (on hold until
2006)
- Information-sharing
