Welcome
Welcome to the Engineering and Physical Sciences Library (EPSL). EPSL collects and provides access to research materials in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, astronomy, and geology. This page is intended to provide you with a broad overview of the library and the locations of our collection materials and facilities. For further guidance, consult the EPSL floorplan or contact us.
Location:
The Engineering & Physical Sciences Library is located in the Mathematics Building on the College Park campus. The entrance to the library is located on the first floor, room 1403.
Services on the First Floor:
- The Information Desk: Reference and information assistance.
- Circulation Desk: Charge, renew, and return library materials and course reserves.
- Reference Area: Reference stacks and computer terminals for searching the online catalog and databases.
- Current Periodicals: Current issues of periodicals, arranged by title. Also contains a study area, photocopiers, and microfiche readers.
Services on the Ground Floor:
- Technical Reports Center: Microfiche technical reports and group study area. Note: the Technical Reports Center may be reached by taking the stairway down one level.
Services on the Second Floor:
- Stacks: Circulating books, individual (quiet) study area, Unix WAM Lab, and photocopiers.
Services on the Third Floor:
- Periodicals Stacks: Bound periodicals, group study area, and photocopiers.
