National Climatic Data Center (NCDC)
Access the world's largest active archive of weather data.
National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC)
The national repository for geophysical data, providing a wide range of science data services and information.
National Oceanographic Data Center
A national respository and disseminiation facility for global oceanographic data.
Science and Engineering Statisitics
Provides access to publications, data, and analyses about the nation's science and engineering resources, from the National Science Foundation.
National Space Science Data Center (NSSDC)
Archive for NASA space science mission data.
Scientist and Engineer Statistics Data System (SESTAT)
A comprehensive and integrated system of information about the employment, educational and demographic characteristics of scientists and engineers in the United States.
Spatial Data Transfer Standard
The purpose of the SDTS is to promote and facilitate the transfer of digital spatial data between dissimilar computer systems, while preserving information meaning and minimizing the need for information external to the transfer.
WebCASPAR
A National Science Foundation database system with access to a wide range of statistical data focusing on U.S. universities and colleges and their science and engineering resources.

Congressional Research Service (CRS) Reports
National Council for Science and Environment's database of CRS reports to Congress relating to environment and other related topics.
National Biological Information Infrastructure (NBII) Publications Library
Provides access to a variety of NBII publications related to the life sciences, including fact sheets, presentations, white papers, and the NBII's newsletter Access. Also provides access to the e-journal Sustainability: Science, Practice, and Policy.
National Climatic Data Center: Climate Products & Publications
National Institute of Standards and Technology Virtual Library
Public version of the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) Virtual Library. Includes NIST publications, subject guides, online catalog, etc.
National Service Center for Environmental Publications
Gateway to EPA print and digital publications.
Science and Engineering Indicators
A National Science Foundation biennial report to Congress that provides a broad base of quantitative information about U.S. science, engineering, and technology.
USGS Publications Warehouse
Provides access to citations for more than 70,000 U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) publications with some full text available. Includes USGS reports and thematic maps from 1880 to present.

Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC)
STIC serves the DoD community as the largest central resource for DoD and government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available today.
NASA Technical Reports Server
Access to NASA's technical literature, including documents, images, and video. Includes information for publications dating back to 1915.
National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
Search for U.S. government-sponsored research and reports from federal agencies from 1964 to the present. Some materials available in full-text.
Scientific and Technical Aerospace Reports (STAR)
An online publication listing citations and abstracts of NASA and worldwide aerospace-related research. Updated biweekly.
Virtual Technical Reports Center
Links to online technical reports from the University of Maryland's Engineering and Physical Sciences Library.
