FrogWeb is a multi-agency, federal government initiative to educate and inform the public about declines and deformities in numerous amphibian species, and the efforts engaged to study them. NASA's Life Sciences Data Archive (LSDA) contains information and data from space flight experiments funded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). These experiments were conducted from 1961 to the present time, and include human, animal and plant studies. NASA's Office of Biological and Physical Research creates unique cross-disciplinary research programs, bringing the basic sciences of physics, biology, and chemistry together with a wide range of engineering disciplines. The NBII, a USGS-led initiative, is dedicated to the development of an electronic "federation" of biological data and information sources. The goal of the NBII is to provide swift user access to biological databases, information products, directories, and guides maintained by Federal, State, and local government agencies, non-government institutions, and private sector organizations in the United States and around the world. | ||
