Maps & Geographic Information SystemsMap CollectionThe Map Collection is located in the west wing of McKeldin Library on the 4th floor. The collection consists of approximately 350,000 items, primarily from U.S. Government sources. Coverage includes all of the U.S. states, most of the U.S. territories and possessions, and some areas outside of the United States. For more information see: Geographic Information Systems (GIS)U.S. Government Information Maps & GIS Services provides access to two Geographic Information System (GIS) workstations and a collection of digital spatial data. The workstations are located in the computer lab on the 4th floor of McKeldin Library and are available for use during the library's normal operating hours.
