From November 2, 1932 to May 19, 1948 Parks Johnson and his co-hosts dedicated Vox Pop broadcasts to bringing the voice and experiences of the average American to the radio airwaves. From the early years of the Great Depression, to the turbulance of the Second World War, to the early years of the Cold War, Vox Pop reflected it's times.
