"First full-time radio announcer in the world is the title held by Harold W. Arlin, shown as he looked in the early 1920s. He did the first play-by-play sports and introduced many noted personalities in their radio debuts.
Westinghouse and broadcasting are celebrating 50 years together in 1970. The first regularly scheduled radio broadcast was November 2, 1920, when KDKA, Pittsburgh, broadcast the Harding-Cox election returns."
