| Howard Petrie, announcer. Worked various programs, including NBC radio's "Everything Goes" with Garry Moore. He began at WBZ in 1926 and moved to NBC three years later. He was a serious voice student and coupled hiw NBC assignments with singing in New York chruches. Like other staff announcers he did hundreds of shows in the course of an 8-hour day stint that continued for years. | ||
