Began broadcasting career in mid 1920s in high school as a singer on a small Nebraska station and her voice was later heard in the Arctic over KFKX, an early Westinghouse station. Starting in the mid-1930s, produced women's programming at KOA, then joined American Sheep Producers Council. |
