Library Catalog

Search the online catalog for books and documents on your topic. Start with a keyword search.
Example: Zimbabwe AND economy
You must also use the catalog to find out whether the Libraries subscribe to a particular journal. Do a title browse on the journal title (not the article title).

  • Academic Search Premier (EBSCOHost)
    Abstracts and some full-text articles from scholarly and popular journals in a wide range of subject areas.
  • CIAO: Columbia International Affairs Online
    International affairs site that "publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences."
  • EconLit
    1969- Current. Provides citations and abstracts for articles from more than 400 journals, books, and the Cambridge University Press Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics (AWPE).
  • Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition
    Provides nearly 520 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines.
  • Historical Abstracts
    Abstracts from historical journals covering non-U.S. and non-Canadian history; now with links to JSTOR journals.
  • International Political Science Abstracts
    Indexes and abstracts from international periodicals, 1989 to the present.
  • PAIS (Public Affairs Information Service) International
    Indexes a wide variety of journal articles, research reports, and government documents in the social sciences and public affairs fields.
  • Source OECD
    From the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development. Online, full-text access to OECD's publications from 1998 to the present, including reports, periodicals, and monographs.
  • Worldwide Political Science Abstracts
    Abstracts of journal articles and dissertations from over 1,000 sources. Combined database of the former "Political Science Abstracts" and "ABC PolSci."
