Search VictorWeb, the online catalog, for books and documents on your topic. Start with a keyword search.
Example: Venezuela and economy
You can also use VictorWeb to find out whether the Libraries subscribe to a particular journal. Do a title browse on the journal title (not the article title).

  • CIAO: Columbia International Affairs Online
    International affairs site that "publishes a wide range of scholarship from 1991 on that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGOs, foundation-funded research projects, and proceedings from conferences."
  • EconLit
    Database from the Journal of Economic Literature with citations and abstracts from 400+ journals and dissertations from 1969 to the present.
  • Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Viewswire
    Daily business intelligence on 195 countries covering politics, economies, finance, business, and regulations plus access to Country Reports.
  • Handbook of Latin American Studies
    Conference papers and articles in the field of Latin American Studies from 1990 to the present.
  • Info-Latinoamerica
    Contains citations to articles on Latin American business, economics, society and culture, from over 1,500 leading international and domestic newspapers, journals, news magazines, newsletters, and other sources. It covers 1988 to the present, with some full text beginning with 1995.
  • International Political Science Abstracts
    Indexes and abstracts from international periodicals, 1989 to the present.
