Finding Articles

    MLA International Bibliography

    Information about articles and other publications on literature and related subjects.
    Search titles of literary works in the language or spelling of the original publication. (For example, search for Hali Meidenhad not Holy Maidenhead.)
    Check the Names as Subjects list to verify the spelling of a name. (For example, the MLA uses Hrotsvit not Hrotsvitha.)
    Search for synonyms if you're not sure how something might be expressed. (For example, ancrene riwle or ancrene wisse.)
    Use the asterisk (*) to truncate a word and get all the variations on the ending. (For example, searching on anchorit* will find anchorite, anchorites, anchoritic, anchoritism, etc.)
