19th Century American Literature and History.
DescriptionThis collection includes important American rare books of the nineteenth century. Although major emphasis is placed on literary works, other types of material related to nineteenth-century culture are also reproduced in the collection. The principal regions represented are the Ohio Valley, the South, and the trans-Mississippi West.
The microcards are arranged alphabetically by author or title in the microcard cabinets in the Periodicals/Microforms Room. The microfiche are filed by call number in the microfiche cabinets.
