American Civil liberties Union: Records and Publications 1917-1975
DescriptionThe Records document the activities and cases undertaken by the ACLU in defense of individual and organizational rights in the United States. They include minutes of the board, conference papers, circulars, press releases, policy guides, organization manuals, constitutions, by-laws, as well as the two largest segments, legal briefs and publications.
The Records are divided into 9 series, and are fully described in the Guide to the Microfilm Edition which also includes a complete reel list.

The legal briefs are filed by case name but the Guide also provides subject and chronological access to the cases.
