Description
This collection is a comprehensive compilation of structural information about biologically important macromolecules.
The microfiche atlases are arranged in ascending order of the five-digit identifier, having the form AM i.i.i.i.i. Each digit has a particular significance.
A major component of AMSOM is the Stereo Viewer. The viewing box is positioned on the right side of the microfiche reader screen. The user sees a stereo image of the structure when viewing the graphic part of the microfiche with polarizing eyeglasses.
