Description

A collection of thirty-five handwritten texts, typewritten texts, notebooks, and clippings from the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. Texts, chiefly in Russian, date œrom 1913 to 1927.

Texts are divided according to handwritten texts, typewritten texts, notebooks and clippings.

The Malevich Archive was acquired in 1971 from the heirs of Hans von Riesen, who had been an interpreter for Malevich during his stay in Germany in 1927.
