Description

Miscellaneous Manuscripts is a collection of over 1,800 letters and private papers written by Great Britain's most notable scientists.

Manuscripts are arranged in fourteen volumes. Each volume has a index included on the film. Indexes list principal authors and correspondents, origins and dates of correspondence and brief remarks about the material.

The indexes described above are reproduced on pages 9-75 of the index/guide (McK Ref Q 41.L68 INDEX FOLIO). Also included in the index/quide is a reel index indicating the volume numbers contained on each reel.
