Description
This collection indexes over 27,000 file folders of cinema manuscript materials held by the USC Library. The materials relate to many of the films produced and/or distributed by Universal Pictures Company from 1929 to the 1960's. All aspects of film-making are included in the papers, such as, production, publicity, and script materials.
Access to the collection is through four indexes: Name; Subject (ex. advertising costs, cast credit lists, censorship correspondence, production budgets, set construction costs, etc); Film Title; and Production Number. Directions for using each index are included on the first fiche.
