From 1958 to about 1992, Jack Burke was the manager of KSAC, the pioneer AM radio station licensed to Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. He also served on the board of directors of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters as well as the board of National Educational Radio.

This interview covers topics of sharing-time with WIBW, as well as Burke's years of service on the board of National Educational Radio and his role in getting radio included in the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967.
