From 1963 to 1978, John Fred Gregory has been the General Manager of KPCS-FM (Pasadena, CA) and Professor of Communications at Pasadena City College. He has worked as a television and film producer, director and performer.
In this interview Dr. Gregory focuses on current happenings and problems. He discusses the operations of KPCS-FM, other public radio stations in the Los Angeles area, and his quarrels with CPB and NPR. Finally, he discusses his service on the NER, APRS and NAEB board of directors.
