  • Personally participated in the very first experiments in television in America - as early as the 1939 New York World's Fair demonstrations
  • Aided educators and community leaders in starting early educational television stations in his function as field man for JCET in the early 1950s
  • Led first efforts toward ETV development in New York City.
  • Assisted in the activation of Penn State's public television station, WPSX
