Film, Video and Audio Materials

The National Trust Library has in its collection films, videos, and audio tapes related to historic sites and preservation dating from the 1930s to the present. These collections are only partially processed. In general, film, video, and audio materials have been divided into four groups. The first comprises all of the commercially distributed audio and video programs, and the remaining three include unpublished and archival film, video, and audio materials.

Use the links below to find out more about the collections and to access the available inventories.

Access

Some of the material is unique or exists in fragile or obsolete formats. Special arrangements for accessing such material can be made through the National Trust Library. Please contact us to make these arrangements.

While NTL staff will make every effort to share information we have about the materials and their status, the responsibility for determining copyright status rests with the patron.
