Victor Herbert Band Program (1904)
A program from a concert given by Victor Herbert and His Orchestra, Willow Grove Park, 20 June 1904. The Wise Papers contain dozens of Victor Herbert programs, spanning the years 1903-1909. As per tradition, the ensemble performed both an afternoon and evening concert. Selections included Grieg's Peer Gynt Suite, Liszt's Second Hungarian Rhapsody, the Roman Carnival Overture by Berlioz, and a "Grand Fantasie" from La Boheme, among others.
