Patrick Conway Band Program (1910)
A program from a concert given by Patrick "Patsy" Conway and His Band, Willow Grove Park, 8June 1910. The Wise Papers contain Patrick Conway programs spanning the years 1910-1926. This particular program features music very common to bands of the day: operatic excerpts (selections from Cavalleria Rusticana and Samson and Delilah), transcriptions of famous overtures (works by Suppe and Auber), as well as vocal and instrumental solos ("The Holy City" and "Ave Maria").
