Maryland Sheet Music Collection

The Maryland Sheet Music Collection contains about 1,400 pieces of sheet music (songs and piano works) relating to or published in the State of Maryland. Most of the collection consists of materials printed in the 19th and 20th centuries by publishers such as F.D. Benteen, John Cole, the Emerson Drug Co. (the Bromo-Seltzer editions), Henry McCaffrey, Miller & Beacham, and George Willig. There are a number of early editions and arrangements of "The Star Spangled Banner" and "Maryland, My Maryland."
