PUBLICATIONS DISTRIBUTED AT THE ENTRANCES OF LIBRARY BUILDINGS
It is the policy of the UM Libraries to allow those publications issued by official campus groups or recognized by the University of Maryland administration or SGA to be distributed at the entrances of library buildings. Publications from outside the University of Maryland will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. The Libraries reserve the right to remove any publication that does not meet the criteria or has not been given prior approval.
- Groups wanting to distribute their publications should submit written requests and samples for review to the Public Services office, 4119 McKeldin Library.
- Issues of publications over one week old will be removed regardless of when the new issues have arrived. The only exception is the Schedule of Classes. Daily publications such as The Diamondback will be removed the next day.
- Public Services, Facilities, and Cleaning staff should work together to keep the areas in the fronts of the buildings neat.
