Through more than two years of tireless teamwork, you coordinated all aspects of this highly successful event, including negotiating a contract with the Inn and Conference Center, creating a high-quality program selected from a large number of competitive submissions, coordinating talks for two well respected keynote speakers, creating and maintaining a conference web site, and creatively managing a budget. Your exemplary efforts have enhanced the reputation of the University of Maryland Libraries among information literacy professionals worldwide.

In recognition of your leadership and creativity in coordinating the Nancy Drew and Friends Exhibit and Symposium in Hornbake Library in 2005. The exhibit highlighting the collection of girls' series books at the University of Maryland Libraries, attracted large numbers of visitors to the Maryland Room Gallery and the symposium drew interest from both scholars and members of the community. This exhibit will be a model of successful presentation and outreach for special collections to the scholarly community and the public for many years.
