Thomas Harrod Joins Life Sciences/Chemistry Team

College Park, MD – Thomas Harrod has been appointed Life Sciences Librarian at the University of Maryland Libraries. He will be a member of the Life Sciences/Chemistry Team and will be based in the White Chemistry Library, where he will serve as liaison to the Dept. of Cell Biology & Molecular Genetics.

Tom recently completed his Masters degree in library and information sciences from the University of Illinois at Ubrbana-Champaign.

Harrod received his Bachelor’s degree in biology, with a minor in chemistry, from Northern Illinois University. He later received a Masters degree in Basic Medical Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he studied immunology.
