Nevenka Zdravkovska Appointed Head of EPSL

College Park, MD -Nevenka Zdravkovska was appointed Head of the Engineering and Physical Sciences Library in October of 2006.

Zdravkovska joined UM Libraries from the Blommer Science Library at Georgetown University where she worked as a science reference librarian.

Zdravkovska speaks French, Macedonian, Croatian and Serbian (or Serbo-Croatian) fluently. She spent 15 years in various leadership positions at the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Skopje, Macedonia.

In 1998 she started working as a reviewer for Choice: Current Reviews for Academic Libraries. She mainly focused on databases and reference books in physics and mathematics, and literature of Macedonia and Yugoslavia.

In 1973, Zdravkovska received a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, Macedonia. She later received a Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University in 1994.
