Angie Ohler Appointed Head of Acquisitions

College Park, MD -Angie Ohler has been appointed Head of Acquisitions at the University of Maryland Libraries.

Ohler has 13 years of experience working in acquisitions for academic libraries. She comes to Maryland from the University of Oklahoma Libraries where she was the Serials Acquisitions Librarian and Assistant Head of the Acquisitions Department. Ohler has also worked at the American University Library in Washington D.C. prior to working in Oklahoma.

Ohler received a bachelor of arts in Sociology/Anthropology and International Studies from Westminster College in 1993. She later received a master of arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology in 2001 and a master of science in Library Science from Catholic University of America in 2004.
