Phillipa Brown Appointed Head of Human Resources

College Park, MD -The University of Maryland Libraries have appointed Phillipa Brown Head of Human Resources.

Brown comes to the university from Anne Arundel Community College, where she served as Senior Human Resources Consultant for over two years.

She earned a bachelor’s degree from Howard University, and a master’s degree in Human Resources from Bowie State University.

Brown was certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources in 1998 and has served on the board of directors for the Human Resource Society of Prince George’s County.
