Hongyan Sun Joins UM Libraries

College Park, MD - Hongyan Sun has joined the University of Maryland Libraries as a Librarian for the Information Technology Division.

Sun comes to UM Libraries from the Delta State University Library where she served as an electronic services librarian.

Sun received a Bachelor of Arts in civil engineering from Wuhan University in China. She later received a Master of Science in computer system engineering from Northeastern University in Boston and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
