Mysterious Maryland Exhibit Open in Hornbake Library

College Park, MD -College Park, MD – The University of Maryland Libraries is proud to announce the opening of the exhibit “Mysterious Maryland: The Strange and Supernatural on Campus and beyond” in the lobby of Hornbake Library.

The exhibit features scary stories and spooky items pertaining to mysterious, haunting and macabre legends in the history of the University of Maryland and surrounding areas.

Dare to delve into the area’s spooky history and learn about the tales of haunted dorms, unsolved deaths, and even the man dressed as a fluffy bunny throwing hatchets at his victims.

Decide for yourself whether the stories and legends you experience in the exhibit are factual or simply urban legends.

The exhibit is open:

Monday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday: 5 – 8 p.m.
Saturday: 12 – 5 p.m.
