Trespassing

In some cases individuals who harass, threaten or assault library staff or library users, or who engage in other suspicious behavior, may be forbidden to enter a library in the future. The order is immediate only if the individual committed a violent crime.  Otherwise, the order is effective in ten days, so that the person can request a hearing. Depending on the incident, the person may be barred from all libraries permanently or just from one library or certain libraries for a specified time.
