Arts & Humanities Collaborative
Collaborative Mission
The collaborative provides leadership in the development and management of the UM Libraries general collections in the areas of Arts & Humanities. It is also the primary community venue for the subject liaisons in these same disciplinary areas. The collaborative works together to enhance communication, resources, and services between the Libraries and individual Departments and programs in the College of Arts & Humanities and the School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
Description of Work
The Arts & Humanities Collaborative works closely with the Collection Management Team (CMT) to enhance coordination of collection management in the broad disciplinary areas and facilitate collection management at the level of the broad disciplines.
Led by CMT, the collaborative participates in activities to develop policy, institutional processes, and special projects, share and disseminate information, and coordinate work of the collaborative to support collection management and collection resource allocation.
- Meeting Schedule: Meetings, unless otherwise noted, are Monday, from 2:00-4:00 in McKeldin.
