The Nuremberg Chronicle continues in a tradition of medieval chronicles which represent human history in six ages, from creation to the present. The scope of the work includes the history of the Church, secular history, classical antiquity, and medieval and contemporary events mixed with a number of fables, myths, and legends. The Chronicle also covers important figures, such as the ones shown above, including kings, clergy, as well as philosophers and thinkers.
