A variety of arts are encompassed by our Rare Book Collections in the Arts, including, visual, literary and theater arts. You can explore these collections by browsing the inventory lists (when available) or by searching the library's online catalog.
- The Spanish Play Collection
- Dramatic works written by some of Spain's most prominent playwrights, primarily dating from the 17th to the 20th centuries.
- The Dr. George Levitine Collection (European iconography, French art history)
- A collection of 2,000 volumes dating from the 16th to the 19th centuries with particularly strong holdings in the areas of emblematic deices and iconography.
- German Expressionist Serials Collection
- Containing 68 titles spanning the first half of the 20th century, these serials exhibit the German Expressionism movement in the visual arts, literature and theatre.
