Frederick Eckman and Richard Wirtz Emerson are the founders of the Golden Goose Press.



  • Creeley, Robert. Le Fou. (1952) Columbus, OH. The edition is printed from Garamond and Libra types, hand-set by Frederick Eckman, and printed on Beckett Vellum. Designed by Richard Wirtz Emerson at the Golden Goose Press.  Bound in printed paper wrappers covered in glassine. UMCP has an unnumbered and unsigned copy. Special Collections Stacks PS3505 .R43 F66.

  • Williams, Carlos William. The Pink Church. (1949) Columbus, Ohio. Limited edition of 400 copies were printed on Hamilton laid text from Benedictine Old Style linotype, and the first 25 copies are signed by the author. Golden Goose Goose Chap Book I. UMCP has copies numbered 24 and 102. Special Collections Stacks PS3545 .I544 P5.
