Harrison of Paris

Harrison of Paris was a fine press run by Barbara Harrison and Monroe Wheeler. The press was established in Paris in 1930, and in five years, the press produced thirteen titles. In 1934, shortly before the marriage of Barbara Harrison to Glenway Wescott's younger brother, Lloyd, the press was relocated to New York, where it brought out a final title, Katherine Anne Porter's Hacienda. Harrison of Paris stopped publishing in 1934. (from Yale University Beinecke Rare Books and Manuscript Library, Yale Collections of American Literature, [last accessed August 14, 2005])
