Limited edition of 326 numbered/lettered and signed copies printed from Hermann Zapf’s Aldus type on Curtis Rag paper. 300 copies are numbered 1-300; 26 copies lettered A-Z. Designed and printed by Grant Dahlstrom for the Lord John Press. Originally an article in the New Yorker, the essay is published here with the footnotes added in 1965 on its inclusion in the author’s assorted prose. UMCP has copy number 185.
